Welcome to Troop 993's website! Troop 993 was chartered in 1958 by the Wesley United Methodist Church and has been proudly serving the community for over 50 years! The troop meets every Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 8412 Richmond Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22309. Troop 993 subscribes to the three aims of Scouting: Teaching boys values, citizenship and physical fitness. Additionally, the troop actively provides service to the community. We strongly adhere to the boy-run, boy-led troop philosophy, with adult leaders acting as mentors and advisors. Join fellow Scouts at Nationals Park for Scout Day! With the purchase of a special ticket, fans will get to enjoy an exclusive pre-game photo and parade on the field and a special opportunity for Scouts to run the bases after the game, plus a special patch!
